In a live interview today, Scholar Stephanie Morales and Program Manager Mary Castleberry discussed San Diego Education Fund scholarships and how they have supported Stephanie's work to become a civil engineer.
The five-minute conversation with anchor Lauren Phinney brought Stephanie and Mrs. Castleberry to the studios of KUSI News.
Stephanie, a first-generation Mexican-American, is a Hoover High School graduate and fourth-year civil engineering student at San Diego State University.
