Inspired by his father

Victor Zamora’s inspiration to study mechanical engineering came from the example set by the best teacher he ever had—his father.

Victor spends hours beneath the hoods of his father’s many cars. He tags along to help him with landscaping, carpentry, drywall, flooring and electrical installations.

Elsewhere, you might find Victor hard at work at the Birria Madrigal taco stand.

At San Diego High School, Victor’s academic initiative is reflected with a 3.98 grade point average and acceptances to four universities.

“I plan on reaching the highest peak of the mechanical engineering mountain,” Victor said, “and be the best in what I do.”

Congrats, Victor! We believe in you!
