Introducing Jacqueline Silva, a future nurse

Introducing Jacqueline Silva, a new San Diego Education Fund scholar who’s heading to Point Loma Nazarene University in the fall. She dreams of becoming a nurse, a profession where dealing with stressful situations comes with the territory.

Knowing how to keep her cool has helped Jacqueline thrive with a 4.23 GPA at Clairemont High School, where she has played competitive soccer and softball and served as an advocate for special education students.

“I look forward to hearing of her successes in the future,” one of Jacqueline’s teachers said, “for I know there will be many.”

Welcome aboard, Jacqueline!
