Education law expert joins board

Introducing Jose A. Gonzales, an expert in education law and new member of our Board of Directors.

For 26 years, he served as deputy general counsel for San Diego Unified School District.

During more than four decades as an attorney, Jose has handled public school and public employment law, trial court and appellate court litigation, administrative hearings, arbitrations and legal matters tied to charter schools, public school contracting, public agency meetings, public school constitutional law, and CIF interscholastic athletics.

Jose says he’d like to help us perform our mission of serving college-bound young adults from low-income communities.
